Man, 29, charged with murder after ‘stabbing his 63-year-old stepfather to death’ in Adelaide

A man has professedly been wounded to death by his stepson inside his home, in what police have affirmed was not an ‘irregular assault’.

The 63-year-old man and his 29-year-old affirmed assailant were found inside a home at Oaklands Stop, in Adelaide, at around 10.30pm on Wednesday night.

At the point when police entered the property they found the combine inside, with the more established casualty experiencing various cut injuries. He was taken to healing facility however kicked the bucket hours after the fact.

While it is not trusted that the men lived respectively, SA Police have affirmed that the charged assailant was known to them.

‘Police went into the house and discovered both the casualty and the claimed wrongdoer. The casualty was found to have numerous cut injuries,’ Investigator Boss Assessor Wayne Overmeyer said.

‘I can affirm the casualty and the expired were known to each other and this was not an irregular assault.

‘It is trusted that the man captured was the casualty’s stepson… he was known to police.

‘It’s a to a great degree tragic time and we should be conscious of his family.’

The man has been accused of murder and will front the Adelaide Justices Court later on Thursday.

Neighbors told the Nine System a man and his child lived in the home and there was blood all around.

‘It was much the same all in all stun. You simply don’t think it would occur around there,’ Braidyn Lloyd told Nine.

Police declined to remark on claims by neighbors that they went by the address half a month prior to do a welfare check.
